Lantronix has named Saleel Awsare president and chief executive of the provider of Internet-of-Things solutions, effective Nov. 20.
The Irvine, Calif., company on Monday said Awsare joins from Synaptics, where most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of its enterprise and mobile division.
Lantronix said Awsare, 59 years old, will receive an annual base salary of $500,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 100% of his base pay and a maximum opportunity of 200%.
Lantronix’s chief financial officer, Jeremy Whitaker, has been serving as interim CEO since Paul Pickle left in June to take the helm at Semtech.
