Fielmann has appointed Steffen Baetjer, executive director controlling, as its new chief financial officer to replace Alexander Zeiss, who is stepping down after two decades in the role.
The German eyewear company said on Tuesday that Baetjer took on the position of CFO effective from the start of 2024, along with the responsibilities of legal, compliance and controlling. Baetjer has been executive director controlling since August and previously held CFO positions at Techem and Apcoa Parking.
After holding the position of CFO at Fielmann for 20 years, Zeiss is set to join the supervisory board and lead the Fielmann family’s holding company.
