Meritage Homes is more than doubling its quarterly dividend to 75 cents.
The home construction company on Thursday said its board of directors approved raising its quarterly payout to shareholders to 75 cents from 27 cents previously.
The new payout, equal to $3, represents a yield of 2.0%, based on the company’s latest closing price of $153.18.
The dividend will be paid on March 29.
