OPG Power Ventures said Tuesday that revenue and profit after tax for fiscal 2023 were in line with market expectations.
The India-focused power generation company said total generation in the year ended March 31 was 1.5 billion units, down from 1.8 billion units in fiscal 2022 due to high coal prices and its focus on profitable operations.
OPG said its plant load factor was 42.1% for the year, down from 51.5%. In March it was 70.7% and rose to 74.6% in April. OPG’s average tariff over the year was 8.71 Indian rupees (11 cents) per kilowatt hour, the London-listed group said.
The company didn’t provide any figures for fiscal 2023 views.
