Aramark said vice chairman Paul Hilal resigned effective Wednesday.
The Philadelphia-based food, facilities and uniform-services company said Friday that Hilal, who is also chief executive of Mantle Ridge, had resigned immediately before the execution of a registered stock offering. Hilal’s resignation wasn’t because of a disagreement with the company, it said, and Mantle Ridge has waived its right to appoint a successor.
Hilal was appointed in October 2019 in connection with a stewardship agreement between the company and Mantle Ridge, Aramark said.
The company also said it completed an offering of 21.3 million shares of common stock at a price of $39.75.
