Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.53%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:), which rose 2.77% or 70.00 points to trade at 2,601.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) added 2.45% or 151.00 points to end at 6,316.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.25% or 135.00 points to 6,125.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.68% or 84.00 points to trade at 2,196.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.48% or 93.00 points to end at 2,577.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was down 2.87% or 3,100.00 points to 105,100.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 265 to 200 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.68% or 84.00 to 2,196.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.26% or 0.18 to $68.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.58% or 0.42 to hit $72.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 20.05 to trade at $2,057.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.49% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 0.16% to 4.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 101.08.
