Bystronic appointed Domenico Iacovelli as next chief executive officer to succeed long-time boss Alex Waser, who has chosen to retire.
The Swiss sheet-metal processor said Wednesday that Iacovelli, who will take up his new role from July 1, brings extensive management and leadership experience, having previously held CEO positions at Schuler and Andritz Soutec.
Under Waser, who joined the company in 2013, Bystronic more than doubled its revenue, the company said.
Bystronic continues to expect a higher operating result with a decline in sales for 2023. Results are to be published on Feb. 29, it said.
