Leifheit AG said Saturday that Chief Executive Officer Henner Rinsche is stepping down by mutual agreement with the company, effective Monday.
Stefan De Loecker, deputy chairman of Leifheit’s supervisory board, will take over the position while the household products company searches for a permanent candidate. During this transitional period, his role as deputy chairman will be suspended, Leifheit said.
Rinsche was appointed chairman of the management board in June 2019. From 2020 to 2021 he also held the role of chief financial officer.
Leifheit said the change wouldn’t affect board members’ areas of responsibility, and that it was confident of identifying a new CEO in the near-term.
