Steel Dynamics’ board has raised the steelmaker’s quarterly dividend by 8.2% to 46 cents a share from 42.5 cents.
The new payout, equal to $1.84 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.45%, based on Friday’s closing price of $127.01, up from 1.34%.
The Fort Wayne, Ind., company on Monday said the increased dividend is payable April 14 to shareholders of record March 31.
