AbbVie, Aon, Bristol Myers Squibb, Cboe Global Markets, Charter Communications, Chevron, Cigna, Exxon Mobil, LyondellBasell Industries, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and W.W. Grainger report results on Friday.

This week’s notable economic events include Tuesday’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey for December. S&P CoreLogic will release its Case-Shiller National Home Price Index for November, and the Conference Board will release its Consumer Confidence Index for January.

On Wednesday, the Federal Open Market Committee will announce its monetary policy decision, followed by a press conference with Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Also Wednesday, ADP will release its National Employment Report for January.

On Thursday, the Institute for Supply Management will release its Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index for January, and the Labor Department will release initial unemployment benefits claims for the week ended Jan. 27.
