Canadian alternative fuel systems and components company Westport Fuel Systems said Tuesday that Chief Executive David Johnson will step down from his role, effective immediately.
Johnson has been with the company since 2019, heading up the expansion of its alternative fuel usage in transportation, including hydrogen, among other strategic focuses.
Westport said it has formed a search committee to begin and oversee a search for its next CEO.
In the meantime, Westport has appointed Tony Guglielmin as interim CEO to continue executing its strategy while the search process advances.
