Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.76%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the lost 0.76%.

The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 3.55% or 425.00 points to trade at 12,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) added 2.95% or 350.00 points to end at 12,230.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) was up 1.93% or 3.20 points to 169.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.77% or 8.00 points to trade at 280.50 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:) declined 2.50% or 4.25 points to end at 165.90 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was down 1.84% or 2.05 points to 109.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) rose to 3-years highs; up 1.93% or 3.20 to 169.20.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.59% or 0.42 to $71.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.60% or 0.45 to hit $75.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 5.05 to trade at $1,934.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 102.66.
