Germany stocks mixed at close of trade; DAX down 0.26%

Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the declined 0.26%, while the index climbed 0.47%, and the index added 0.26%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vonovia SE (ETR:), which rose 4.66% or 0.86 points to trade at 19.19 at the close. Meanwhile, Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR:) added 1.19% or 2.00 points to end at 170.60 and Adidas AG (ETR:) was up 1.14% or 2.02 points to 178.64 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Covestro AG (ETR:), which fell 1.94% or 0.93 points to trade at 47.02 at the close. MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.78% or 4.20 points to end at 231.70 and Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) was down 1.74% or 0.29 points to 16.06.

The top performers on the MDAX were LEG Immobilien AG (ETR:) which rose 4.28% to 57.56, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was up 4.17% to settle at 43.95 and Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which gained 3.27% to close at 9.41.

The worst performers were Knorr-Bremse AG (ETR:) which was down 4.01% to 65.08 in late trade, Duerr AG (ETR:) which lost 2.42% to settle at 28.18 and Encavis AG (ETR:) which was down 1.39% to 14.90 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Kontron AG (ETR:) which rose 6.83% to 19.55, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was up 1.39% to settle at 109.30 and Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.39% to close at 26.20.

The worst performers were Nagarro SE (ETR:) which was down 2.03% to 82.10 in late trade, Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which lost 0.79% to settle at 30.00 and Qiagen NV (ETR:) which was down 0.75% to 41.06 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 331 to 322 and 88 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 2.40% to 14.07.

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.15% or 2.85 to $1,932.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 2.12% or 1.48 to hit $71.27 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 2.08% or 1.55 to trade at $76.20 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.66.
