Germany stocks mixed at close of trade; DAX down 0.41%

© Reuters. Germany stocks mixed at close of trade; DAX down 0.41%

Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the fell 0.41%, while the index climbed 0.30%, and the index fell 0.81%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vonovia SE (ETR:), which rose 2.46% or 0.44 points to trade at 18.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (ETR:) added 2.17% or 0.55 points to end at 25.92 and RWE AG ST O.N. (ETR:) was up 1.25% or 0.50 points to 40.37 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Continental AG O.N. (ETR:), which fell 3.85% or 2.66 points to trade at 66.44 at the close. Porsche Automobil Holding SE (ETR:) declined 3.30% or 1.82 points to end at 53.34 and Siemens AG Class N (ETR:) was down 2.46% or 3.76 points to 148.78.

The top performers on the MDAX were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which rose 6.06% to 23.97, Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which was up 5.22% to settle at 9.11 and LEG Immobilien AG (ETR:) which gained 4.86% to close at 55.20.

The worst performers were SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was down 3.66% to 107.80 in late trade, Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.32% to settle at 66.36 and Knorr-Bremse AG (ETR:) which was down 3.12% to 67.80 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Nagarro SE (ETR:) which rose 5.08% to 83.80, United Internet AG NA (ETR:) which was up 1.40% to settle at 13.08 and Freenet AG NA (ETR:) which gained 1.22% to close at 23.26.

The worst performers were Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 5.10% to 25.84 in late trade, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which lost 3.66% to settle at 107.80 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 3.32% to 66.36 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 378 to 292 and 72 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 1.63% to 13.74.

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.01% or 0.15 to $1,929.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.61% or 0.43 to hit $70.21 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.50% or 0.38 to trade at $75.03 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 102.63.
