Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.78%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.78%.

The best performers of the session on the were Strauss Group (TASE:), which rose 3.37% or 294.00 points to trade at 9,015.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) added 3.22% or 1,120.00 points to end at 35,900.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 3.19% or 1,370.00 points to 44,330.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:), which fell 2.19% or 920.00 points to trade at 41,170.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.11% or 820.00 points to end at 73,080.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:) was down 0.91% or 280.00 points to 30,370.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 310 to 152 and 42 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.15% or 2.15 to $70.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 3.02% or 2.21 to hit $75.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.60 to trade at $1,971.50 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.73% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 3.89.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.74% at 101.77.
